Effective 20 August 2026 · App: Kloset (com.impeccabletech.kloset) · Contact: impeccabletech7@gmail.com
Your wardrobe lives on your phone, not on our servers. Photos are sent to an AI model only at the moment you ask for styling or an outfit image, and we never store them. Your account exists only to track your AI credits.
Your wardrobe photos, profile photos, body measurements, outfit history and preferences are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are not uploaded to Kloset servers (unless you switch on the optional cloud backup described below, which is off by default) and are protected from screenshots in release builds.
When you request outfit suggestions or a try-on image, the relevant photos and wardrobe descriptions are sent through Kloset's server to Google's Gemini API for processing, then discarded. Kloset's server does not store your photos or the generated images; it records only anonymous usage numbers (token counts, credit balance). Google processes this data as an API provider under its Gemini API terms. If you choose the mannequin or flat-lay render style, your personal photos are never sent at all.
Signing in with Google gives us: your email address, a user identifier, your remaining AI credits, daily usage counters, and a one-way hash of a device identifier (used to prevent free-credit abuse; the hash cannot be reversed to identify your device). That is the complete list.
Cloud backup is OFF by default. If you switch it on (Settings → Backup), your backup file, which includes your wardrobe photos, profiles, looks and settings, is stored on Kloset's servers (Google Cloud Storage), linked to your Google account. Only your signed-in account can access or restore it; it is never shared or used for anything except restoring your data. You can turn it off and delete the stored copy anytime in Settings, and it is deleted automatically when you delete your account. If you keep backup off, your data exists only on your device and cannot be recovered by us if the app is uninstalled.
If you enable weather-based suggestions, your approximate location (or a city you type) is used to fetch weather from the free Open-Meteo service. It is used for that request only and is not stored by Kloset servers. You can decline the permission and type a city instead, or turn the feature off.
The Play Store version uses Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports: device model, OS version, stack trace) and Firebase Analytics (anonymous usage events such as "outfit created" or "image rendered", with coarse parameters like the occasion type or render style). These events never include your photos, wardrobe contents, or generated images. We use them to understand which features matter and what to build next. There is no advertising.
Kloset currently sells nothing inside the app. If credit top-ups launch, they will use Google Play Billing, Kloset never sees your payment details.
In-app: Settings → Delete account (removes your account and credits from our servers immediately). Your on-device data is deleted by uninstalling the app. Details: account deletion.
Kloset is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes and the app will point to the updated page.
